Young people are a very important part of life at St John’s. We have various activities and groups going on throughout the week for children of all ages. Have a look at the different groups that run and feel free to contact any of the leaders to find out more.
- Chill Drop In – weekly for 11 – 18s
- Encounter – Sunday night cell for 11-18s from 6.30pm – 8.00pm
- Kidz Klub – weekly for 5 – 11s
Most of the events take place at the Attic Youth Project or in the Memorial Hall. A map of this location can be found on google maps.
St John’s youth work complies with the requirement of the current legislation in respect of Child Protection and has a detailed Child Protection Policy, which can be made available to you on request. All volunteers have Enhanced CRB Checks (Police Checks) and we endeavour to train all volunteers in Child Protection Issues. We have a Child Protection Officer who is responsible for all issues regarding the protection and welfare of the children, young people and families we work with.
